An evil has been terrorizing villages without mercy, the dark grip overcoming everything. The dark lord overcame the ruler with a jewel that had the power to end the world. There was one catch with this jewel, it needed the blood of Several chosen ones. The chosen ones, just small children, were awakened. After countless attempts of dark creatures to capture the children, one village housing them finally figured out the truth. They needed to send the children out to destroy the dark lord. Only they had the power to put an end to this evil, once and for all. After years of training and capture attempts, the children, now young adults, were ready to face the Dark lord.
One of the Chosen Ones was sauntering through the ouskirts of the village, looking about for the others. Cereluean optics glanced about the village, reflecting the sun's bright light. A tan hand brushed a strand of pearly, white hair out of his eyes. He bore a plain tunic of white hue. His leggings were simple, trousers of the same color of his tunic. The attire was simple, as was he.
On his back lay a quiver of arrows, each made carefully, as the smiths knew how important this journey was. Along with the quiver, the bow also rested on his back, a fine Oak one. He was quite skilled with the bow, as he had trained long with it. Along his hip lay a sheath, inside it a rappier. The young adult, dubbed Linith, was 17 years old and was a kind person.
Remembering that he had left something at the village, he sprinted back. Heading towards the armory, he quickly reached it. Truly, agility was this one's specaitly. Opening the large doors to step into it, he headed inside. Looking around for the thing that he wished for, he found it. There was an iron chainmail on the smith's table and he picked it up. Quickly putting it on, he ran outside again and continued his search for the others.
The village was simple one, made with a river along the east side. The river's course was long, and ran throughout most of the country. This village was just one of the places where it ran through. The village was the village's main source of water, and usually many villagers were gathered there, of course, gathering water. Another use of the river was the fish. The fish wasn't the most filling meal there was, but if anything it was a meal.
Along the south and west side of the village was a forrest. The forest was large and was inhabited by creatures both big and small. Usually, hunters traveled here to hunt game. In the beginning, the forest was small and the trees were thin. As you continued through the forest the trees' branches grew larger, and if you traveled too long, you were certain to get lost.
In the village itself was a multiple of things. One of these things were the armory, where armor (duh ) and weapons were forged. Another thing was the village elder. He had much wisdom, and could bandage up any who were hurt. The last place was the marketplace. People were abundant here, selling things or looking for a bargain.
To the north was most likely the most important feature of all. It was the path that lead to the other villages, allowing some to venture upon the earth. It was also the most important because the path would eventually lead to the Dark Lord's castle. The Dark Lord obviously occupied the castle. The path to it was long and rugged, but to defeat the Dark Lord, it was worth it.

She made the stone skip across the wide river and smiled as she watched it. Pushing her brown hair behind her ear, Karma gathered up her things and headed for the path to the Dark One's Castle. Named because of her power to noticed people's aura's an weak spots, Karma should be a calm ,collected person, some who haven't even seen her say she is dark. COMPLETE OPPOSITE. Karma gets bored very easily and is always jumping at something to do. Even if its stupid or against the rules. She usually is out playing instead of training even though she's about 16 years old. Its not that she doesn't want the Dark One to rule the villagers, she just doesn't want to be the one to deal with him. But noooo...she had to be a chosen one. She among other children were special and taken care of. She hated the unwanted attention. Karma only carried a small sleeping bundle on her back and a dagger on her waist. She wore a brown sleeveless dress with a black cloak over it, the hood down.

A weathered traveller burst into the tavern, his eyes darting about frantically. He was out of breath, panting, as he dashed madly towards the counter. He slammed his hands onto the counter and spoke to the innkeeper. "Need a..." he paused, cathing his breath. "Need a place to hide." The keeper looked at him passively, as if he got hundreds of such requests each day. He jerked a thumb in the direction of a back area. The stranger nodded in thanks and rushed over to it. "Oh," the man said, stopping abruptly, "I was never here." The bartender nodded and rolled his eyes, as if saying "I wasn't born yesterday," and wiped down the counter. Just as the frantic man disappeared through the door the bartender had indicated, the door burst open again. A huge figure, clad in black armor stood there, two eyes glowing red beneath a tarnished visor. It looked around slowly as it walked it. A gauntleted hand rested on the hilt of a massive black sword, a red orb inset on the pommel. The laughter stopped, and all eyes turned towards the armor-clad figure. It stepped in slowly, and everyone froze. Only the bartender appeared unphased, and continued wiping the bar. The figure approached the counter, stunned people clearing an aisle before him. It spoke in a deep, raspy voice. "I seek a traveller, has he passed through here?" The bartender didn't look up. "There be lots of travellers passing through these parts." He met the unwavering gaze of the cold red eyes and wiped his hands absently. "Is there any one you seek in particular?" The figure hissed slowly, an ugly sound that made many of the guests tremble violently. The bartender appeared undisturbed. With blinding speed the dark figure rushed towards the counter. It seized the innkeeper and held him against the counter, it's black sword at his throat. "If you do not speak it will be your blood that is wiped from the bar next." The bartender sputtered. "Haven't...seen anyone...unusual." The armored thing held his gaze a moment loner, before throwing his lightly across the tavern. He struck the wall with an "oof," and fell to the ground. The thing rasped something and soon had gone through the tavern door.
The traveller watched all this through a tiny hole in the wall behind the bar. It was concealed by a barrel of rum, and he had suppressed a gasp when it had flung the bartender against the wall. He dearly hoped he was alright. He waited several minutes after the creature had left before emerging. The bartender sat at a table, rubbing his throat and his head. "Sorry, friend," said the traveller, and several gold coins landed on the table. "For your troubles." With that, the traveller left the tavern through a window near the back. He cast his staff out first, that had apparently appeared out of nowhere, and followed it quickly. The staff stoof upright and he snatched it before pulling the deep hood of his travel worn cloak over his head and assuming the posture of an old man. He set off, his head down.

At the moment, the young man was sauntering past the Inn door. As he could not move through solid objects, he ran into the man. The man didn't seem to mind, as he just shoved him out of the way. 'Sorry!' he thought, but decided to keep the rude comment to himself. The man looked evil and menacing with the black blade. Turning his head, he saw an old man walking that looked as if he came from the general direction of the Inn. "Excuse me," he started, walking towards the old man, "What happened in that Inn?" he questioned.

"Hm?" said the man in a croaky voice he had assumed quickly. As he raised his head some scraggly grey hairs sprouted from his chin and wrinkles appeared beneath his eyes. He did this under the cover of his hood. "Oh just the usual ruckus," he said. "What concern is it of you?" He eyed the newcomer suspiciously.

]"Not much, it's just...That man seems disrespectful." Linith had a strong sense of right and wrong, but he wasn't one of those knights obssesed with justice. Since the other villagers know about the Chosen Ones, he decided to query him about the others. "Do you know where the other Chosen Ones are?" he asked the old man.

At the mention of the chosen ones the man straightened. He threw back his hood and the hairs on his chin vanished. The wrinkles smoothed themselves out. "Follow me," he said briskly, and slipped into the shadows behind a barn.

"H-How..." He shook his head and followed him. THere was question as to why the boy was able to change back and forth between an old man and himself. Still questioing this as he followed him, he shook the thought from his mind for now. "Where are we?" he questioned. Apparently, this one knew something that he didn't.

He looked around, cheecking for eavesdroppers. He paused, and spotting the knight's bewildered expression shrugged. It's just some hairs on my chin, and a few wrinkles on my face. The rest is in your mind." Then, as if that explained everything he got back to business. "I do not know where the rest of the Chosen are, but I gather you are one of them. I too seek them, although I am not one myself." He did another check. "Oh, the name's Roth." He did a clumsy, sweeping bow. "A wizard. A lesser wizard, but a wizard nonetheless." As if to prove his point he removed his hand from his staff and it stood on it's own. "I'm not, some might say, very powerful." He snickered. "But I say it's not what you've got, it's how you use it." He looked him over. "I don't recognize you, but then it's been so bloody long. Which one are you, again?"

"Yes, I am one of the Chosen Ones." he replied to his implication. My name is Linith. PLeasure to meet you." Holding out his hand, a common greeting. "Why do you choose to seek the others and me if you are not a Choosen One yourself?" he queryed. This one seemed nice enough, and his powers would seem to come in handy. IT wasn't that he longed that this one shouldn't come, he was just questioning his motives.

He grasped the hand. "Why do I seek them?" he asked, as if it were one of the most ridiculous questions that he had been asked. "Well, if a desire to rid the kingdom of the evil is not motive enough." He looked off into the distance. "I should very much like to see them all again." He shook his head and smiled. "I am much older than I appear, and I played an important role in the raising of the Chosen. Anyways, that is not important. We must find your comrades at once if we wish to make this land safe once more." He set off at a brisk pace. "I have heard that they are all somewhere in this village. Come quickly." He had donned his old man disguise once more.

Karma swun her legs back and forth as she sat on a branch not far away. Her cloak was still on but it dropped past her shoulders, leaving therm exposed, while it hung onto her body at her elbows. SHe knew she was supposed to be looking for her siblings but she could take a break once and a while, right?...right? She shook her head and jumped from the tree, pulling her cloak back up over her shoulders. "If I were my siblings..." She murmured, looking around. "Where would I be?" She saw two men walking together near her. One looked almost her age, maybe older. Maybe she should go ask them if they had seen the other Chosen Ones....?

OoC| I didn't orginally want them to be siblings, but ok.
'I suppose that was a stupid question.' he thought to himself. Smiling as the other one shook his hand, he followed him out of the place. Looking up at a tree, he spotted a young woman and recognized her. "Hey!" he said, jumping and waving. "Karma!" he shouted, smilling as he gazed at the girl.
