Karma knew who it was immediatly and gave her an annoyed glare. "I was hoping we'd find the runt last..." Karma said looking at Lin and Roth on the ground and sighed glancing at Linith. "I think I only remember her because she used to rip the last nerve from my brain."

Alleyway looked up and blew her fellow chosen a raspberry. "You're only mad because I can kick your butt at poker- and a game of treasure hunt any day."
((OOC Note: a couple things to remember about her. She loves magic as well as weapons, but favors speed above all. Magic because she likes making things go boom, weapons because somethings are immune to magic and weapons are fun to use. She has an insane amount of good luck, especially when it comes to games of chance or any form of gambling. Her weaknesses are her phobia against mind magic or psychic power because she has virtually no defense against it. She also has exactly no magical defense- when something gets thrown at her, she runs and hopes she doesn't get hit. Physically, despite flexibility, agility, and speed, she is somewhat lacking. She can also be bribed with chocolate and shiny objects... Preferably valuable shiny objects.
Oh yes, Alleyway Lin is her common name, but she was given another one by the people who raised her; Anna-Elena Lindssehelom.))

Roth, who had been snoring lightly, gave a startled grunt and looked up blearily. Seeing who it was he gave an annoyed cough as he was thrown into an embrace. "Hello Lin," he said. "Glad you could make it." He pushed her back with a simple spell and brushed off his cloak. The dragon had slunk around behind them, and now lunged at Linith. Before either could react, Roth shoved Lin out of the way and thrust his staff at the dragon. As if struck with a large, blunt object it sailed backwards for a good twenty yards. "Anyone want to finish him off, please?"

OoC| It's something like Kurasugri...
Linith nodded once again to Karma and released the arrow. IT flew straight into the dragon's neck, and it was unable to roar. The arrow pierced the neck quickly, and soon the Dragon was dieing. The last blow was up to Karma.

(kusarikama [chained sickle] *hugs computer* I love you, internet.) Karma, having wrapped the chain around her arm, threw the kusarikama at the dragon's neck, almost chopping it's whole head off. THe dragon fell over, dead, and the kusarikama came back to Karma's hand. Karma quickly turned her attention back to Lin, but only glancing at her from the corner of her eye. "The only reason you beat me is because your luck is beyond measure..." She said. Karma didn't exactly take losing well but she did her best to cover it up.

"Nice job." he said to Karma. As the dragon died, he looked over at the girl who had just come. "OH, hey." he said to her, a bit quietly.

Roth walked over to the dragon, and leaned over it. He stared into it's dead eyes for a moment, before looking up. "It's only a wild one," he examined the scales. "Young, at that." He set off quickly. "Come now, before the enemy comes," he said over his shoulder, "and that dragon is nothing compared to the enemy." He pulled his hood over his head as the skies became cloudy and apparently heavy with rain.

Karma exchanged a glance with Linith and quickened her pace to catch up to Roth. "Can't you tell us anything about this enemy? I mean I know he's wanting destroy every living thing on this planet but...shouldn't we know a thing or two about him before we fight him?" She asked. It started to rain but she didn't put her cloak hood up.

Alleyway glowered after them before looking rather disappointed.
"Figures I wouldn't be welcomed. Meeting up again was too good to be true..." Sighing she turned and whistled. A peregrin falcon shot out of the air, landed on her shoulder and began preening her hair affectionatly. "Better get going." And she walked off in a totally different direction-into the woods- trying hard not to let the disappointment get to her. "You know, my smile is a frown turned upside-down." She confided to silver-winged falcon. That was one thing she loved about the bird- it's longest feathers looked like they were made of silver.

Roth slowed to a halt, and met Karma's gaze. "I have only once seen the Dark Lord, and that was from a great distance," he said. "He is supposed to be the single most terrifying entity in the world." He paused thoughtfully. "It could be a she, no one knows for sure. Or it could be a being that has no gender." He shrugged. "The point is it commands most evil in the world, and we'll need every Chosen we can find if we have any chance at stopping it."

Going further into the woods, Alleyway Lin eventually ran into a familiar brook surrounded by moss-covered stones.
"Oh yeah, I remember this place." She told the falcon. "Alright then." Settling down, she reached into a leather shoulder-bag and pulled out a deck of cards. These she set up into a game of solatair, which she then beat in a grand total of five minutes. Resetting the game, she turned to the brook and withdrew a tin cup from her bag which was then used to take a drink. Then she proceeded to play another game.
In the mean time, the falcon flew to a branch some five or so feet above her head and watched her with vague interest. Every now and then it glanced around suspiciously. "Calm down Mithinrei." It made a quiet squaking sound before returning to it's watch.

Roth looked back, and spotted Linith. "Where's Lin?" he asked in a frustrated voice. He saw some footprints that anyone else might have missed, and followed them to the woods. He came to the brook where Lin was playing cards. "What the devil are you doing?" he said in a bewildered voice. "Half the drak armies are after us and yet you figure it's a good time to play solitaire in the middle of the woods?" He gave an exasperated sigh and sat on a rock, his head in his hands.

She didn't bother looking up, the sound of her voice said everything.
"Well, CLEARLY I'm not wanted, so why don't you wonderfully welcoming people go and have tea on the Dark Lord's door step, eh? You can bring me back a crumpit." And with that she beat yet another game, took a long drink from the fresh water, reshuffled the deck and put the cards out again, her hands turning into dainty blurs.

Karma had watched Roth go out into the woods. Great...I made the runt run away... SHe thought, and cast her gaze to the ground. "I'm such a jerk..." She muttered, remembering how Lin could really be. Not just annoying...though, most of the time but really helpful, like with the dragon.

"Oh, come now, quit being sily," said Roth. He made a gesture and the cards all flipped themselves back into the deck, which proceeded to float into Roth's hand. "I'm just a bit preoccupied at the moment for warm welcomes," he said. "Now let's get moving, before--" he was cut off by a low rumble. He was about to continue when the rumble repeated itself, then again. Roth swore loudly. The cards vanished, and he stood up quickly. "Too late," he said, and headed quickly towards the others. He gestured for Lin to follow. "We'll need you for this," he said gravely.
