Forever in the lands of Ithitacia, all was peaceful. The social classes were well organized, each benefiting from all. Stretching across the lands were fertile plains that gradually started to rise into hills and valleys, ending with a dense forest on the eastern horizon. With the perfect climate, and most generous and welcoming people and creatures alike, it seemed to be a utopia for all.
For many years it was a delightful place. Generous and welcoming towns folk, the cheery country dwellers, and the beautiful atmosphere of it all warmed the hearts of all travellers and visitors. Recently, however, the lands were the complete opposite. The farmland froze in the last winter, and sits now with layers of permafrost. The sun has deprived the people of its rays of warmth and light.
Rain clouds and heavy storms have ruled over the weather that once was comfortable. The once lush and magnificent forest darkened and became damp and cold, a spine tingling sight to all. The glee on the air thinned and was replaced by the odd twisty feeling of a presence. A presence indeed. Evil and vile, working it’s way into the heart of the lands. Lethal and ready for it's one purpose.
No one being had the knowledge of the shadow that was creeping into their lives every day of this age of disparity and hopelessness. They were only able to note the changes happening within intervals of time, and show their ignorancy and ignore them the best they could. There were the select few people who worried about the lands. They searched and read up on Ithatacian history. Hoping.
Hoping for any clue as to why this is happening. Why, after years of achievement, peace, and prosperity, that these abrupt changes are taking place steadily yet poisonously. After long days and nights of researching and thinking the group of seekers have found very little, but helpful nonetheless. Years ago, three powerful forces were banned from the lands for their evil thoughts and doings.
The forces valued power over life. They did anything to get ideas and fear installed into the minds of the people. It wasn't until they were too powerful that the government notified of their deeds, and ordered them permanently forbidden. The forces each contained an elemental power. Fire, Water, and Wind. Apart, minor destruction, but together massive devastation could be wrought.
In the form of humans with markings, the forces were cast into a chasm of thought and healing, hoping to cleanse the forces into good.
After years of being trapped in the different world, the forces have rid themselves of their bounds, and returned to Ithitacia. Along with obliteration, the minds of the warriors have been bestowed with revenge. Revenge on the peaceful land.
Silently casting their vile spells and charms upon lands, they watch. From a secluded location, their presence oblivious but the heavy feeling upon air from their existence. It's up to the group of chosen ones to fathom the truth of what's happening to the life of Ithitacia and to stop it. With courage, friendship, and their born identity of saviors they must stick together to end victoriously.
