"We need to go, hurry." She spoke rather quickly. Silently she opened pulled on of the book on the bookcase revealing a stair case that lead to the tunnels underneath. Carring a bundle of bags she placed it in Jyp's arms and pushed him towards the door. Arms went out as she jerked Ankh and pushed him as well. Now rough voices could be heard from the behind the door demanding them to open up. The leopardess grabbed the lioness and headed down the starcase as well and the healer closed the bookcase just in time. Meanwhile the witch cast a few spells to get rid of any sign that the others were here. Then the healer opened the door only to release a few words to the bounty hunters. "Their in the tunnel."
~~~~~~~~~~~ (Apologise for powerplaying!)
The leopardess stood on top of the staircase as a strange sensation came over her. "That - !" She stood still unable to move thanks to the healers so called medicine in the food. She knew that the healer couldn't be trusted and that was exactly what she had told her witch firend when they all first met. "I can't..." She spoke before completely freezing with the lioness still upon her back. What a mess!
Jyp glanced behind him, protesting as he was shoved into the tunnel. Disgruntled, as they walked further down the tunnel, he looked over his shoulder at the leopardess. "Oh, goody." He muttered, then dumped the stuff he was holding onto the floor. "Um, people, one o' yore friends is a bit froze-like." he called to the others.
Ankh groaned. Trapped again! "Next time, I pick where we go. Come on, Jyp. This place is a trap." He prodded the frozen leopardess and glanced at the unconscious lioness on her back. He was strong, but there was no way he could carry both of them. He didn't think Jyp could carry one either. It was very tempting to just leave them there, since the hunters seemed to want to capture live, and rescue them later. But, Ankh thought of Anubis's fury if he abandoned the others. Not to mention Bast's and Sekhmet's rage. Nope. That would not do. "Hey. Wake up." he said, shaking her. "Any tricks up your sleeve?" he asked the cat-sprite.
She had scoured the treetops for any ramshackle abode, but was pleasantly surprised to discover a plain house, set off even better by the several men that were making a commotion at its door.
Apparently, the leopardess was escape artist.
The volkh was unsure as to whether this was a good thing or not. She did not enjoy chasing after people like a hack.
"They're in the tunnel."
Apparently, the leopardess had also made faulty judgement.
They were bound to meet sooner or later, and she took the first option. Artio slipped through a window, her shape unfurling into a human once more. Now a woman, she wasted no time in draping someone else's cloak over her bare shoulders, and treaded softly to a corner to hear and know what she could.
((I'm a little confused. ^^; The witch is helping? But the healer is trying to turn them in to the hunters, yes?))
Jyp grinned. "Eh, depends on what kind of tricks yer talking about. But I don't think I can help this... We should probably carry one each. Whatcha think? 'Cept I'd probably end up dragging one of them, so that ain't much use. Shall we carry on?" He whispered something under his breath, and a light flared breifly, before settling into a green flame on Jyp's palm.
