Saka made a childish frown at the newcommer, making it pretty clear to anyone that she wasn't in a serious enough mood to put up a fight. She remained seated on the ground, partly because she didn't want him to think that she was a pushover, and partly because she was unable to move very well from her slowly worsening leg wound. She didn't want to reveal any weaknesses to anyone. "So. . .what are you going to do with us. . .neither the Fox or the Crow gang have done anything to you. . ." She said this with a hint of agitation; there had been too many strange things tonight to be entertaining anymore. But even with this in Saka's mind, she still kept a rather playful expression on her face. "Haven't done anything to me?" he said incredubulously to himself. He shook his head, and came back to the situation at hand. "Okay, you, on your feet," he said to the new person. He didn't want him to be in a position to surprise him. Daray stood partially concealed by a brick wall. He still had a clear view of the rooftop, but he felt less vulnerable to attack if he had something he could duck behind. When the stranger made no signs of movement Daray sighed and thingyed the hammer with a click. "That," he said matter-of-factly, "is one of the most frightening noises in the world." He looked fondly at the gun for a split second, then looked back at the people. "I really don't feel like shooting anyone today," he said, "so if you could just drop your weapons there it would be of great assistance. I don't work with gangs," he continued, "unless it suits my cause." He tapped his foot impatiently, really not feeling like fighting. He watched them tense up, preparing for a fight. "Bloody hell, why do they always insist on fighting?" he said, exasperated.

THe girl's stomach lurched with fear of being hurt or worse, the others getting hurt. She didn't drop the weapons in the bag as she was instructed. "I will not give these to you." She said. "As I said before, they are to be desposed of. And don't think I am a coward either. Harue Gray doesn't run." She stared at Daray seriously, strait in the eyes. "I won't run." One of her hands moved to the inside of the bag, resting her hand on a gun she knew how to use well. But she hesitated. WHat am I doing? She thought. I don't want to fight like this. Me and my big mouth.

He stood up, with his hands up. His first thought was to attack, but the opponent had a gun. Not to mention the knife that he was twirling. He still had the small knife in his foot, and the two blades concealed by his sleeves. Twisting the straps around his hand, he managed to conceal it so that it was not noticeable. Glacning towards the fox, he saw her hand inside the bag. The odds of her escaping unharmed if she attacked seemed small to him.

(In case all ya'll did catch the clues, my charrie's name is Harue...^_^ Just checkin') Harue's breathing was silent as the courage swpet out of her as quickly as it had entered. But now there was no turning back. Apparently it left her because it wanted her to have to the courage by herself. There was a slim chance that might not work.

Saka was somewhat confused at her attacker's answer. Hmph, she thought, if he didn't work for any gangs like he said he didn't , then what motivated this silly person to threaten them? Perhaps somebody outside of these gangs had put a bounty on their heads? Maybe, but not likely.
". . .then tell me, what do you plan on doing with us then. . .?"
She asked him, while noticing some signs that a battle or a fight was about to begin. Saka felt the hilts of her hidden blades.

Daray grumbled irritably as he saw them preparing to fight. This wasn't going as planned. He decided to answer some questions. "First, I do not wish to take your weapons," said Daray, gesturing with the knife towards the bag. "By all means dispose of them as you see fit." "Oh, and I wouldn't try that if I was you," he said, addressing both the hand which had entered the bag, and the girl reaching for her knives. "I don't want to fight but if I have to the odds aren't looking in your favor." He pointed the gun at he girl holding the bag. "The way your arm is positioned is a dead giveaway that you've got a gun in there," he pointed out. "Chances are I could but a bullet through your head before you got it out of the bag. But for the sake of argument let's say you get it out before I manage to pull the trigger." He smiled grimly. "Do you even know if it's loaded? And then what about the safety?" He shook his head and sighed. He really wasn't in a shooting mood. "I have my reasons for doing this, although you might not be able to see what they are at the moment. As for what I'm going to do with you," he grinned, "I haven't quite sorted that part out yet." He decided that maybe he wasn't intimidating enough, hiding behind a wall. He stepped out casually. "Now all I'm asking is that you drop the weapons. No one moved. He made an exasperated sound and grumbled. "Fine, you think I'm going to shoot you? Here." He opened the chamber, pulled the trigger, reseting the hammer, before snapping it shut. He shoved it in it's holster, and another knife took it's place. "There." One blade was visible, and the other was pressed flat against his wrist. "Now just do it." His legs tensed up, as he prepared for the inevitable fight.

As soon as Daray had pointed out Harue's hand in the back it snapped back to the side of her body. Though he said he did not want to hurt anyone, Harue did not believe him. But he was right that the odds were against Harue and the others. She still wondered who he was. She wanted an answer. And she had another question. She looked at Daray strait in the eyes. "If you don't want the weapons..." She murmured though it was loud enough for him to hear. "Why are you threatening us. What have we done to you?"

The pain in her arm and leg was beginning to bother Saka, because it was getting worse by the moment. She was in no mood to fight, but nor was she in the mood to become a hostage of any sort. He had seen her reach for her blades, so he wouldn't be startled by a surprise attack. Oh how irritating this was to her. . .
"Fine fine fine. . .I won't fight. . ."
Giving a light twitch of her wrists, two, surprisingly long blades slid out quickly from her sleeves. Giving her hands another jerk, she tossed the two blades to the ground; both of them were pointed upwards, partly driven into the ground. Pulling up the trench coat sleeve of her undamaged arm, she revealed a startling sight. Her arms were covered with numerous bands of black leather, each with small daggars attatched to them in some way. With a sigh, she started picking all the blades from their sheaths, holding them between her fingers. Quickly, she tossed them over to where her two long blades were, and soon, there was a small mountain of weapons in front of them. She looked at Daray.
"Better now. . .?"

Daray sighed as the mountain of blades was created. "Bloody Crows," he muttered. Daray had no doubt that she carried more blades on some other part of her body, but let it slide. He scratched his nose and turned towards Harue. "Are you going to drop that?" he asked. When he got no reply he sighed again. What part did these people not understand. With surprising speed he dashed forward, towards Harue. He dove and with a lightning quick movement his knife sliced cleanly through the straps. He snatched it, all before hitting the ground. He rolled and sprung to his feet several metres away. He dropped the bag beside him and pushed it to the side with his foot. He flashed a toothy grin. The stranger hadn't done anything. That bothered Daray, and he now addressed him. "You, just...drop any weapons you've got." He waited impatiently for a reply.

Harue's eyes widened at the surprise given to her by Daray. She stood there for a moment in silence, contemplating what had just happened as more blood seeped onto the ground from the cut on her leg. She turned back toward him slowly, her eyes gleaming with anger. "I thought you said you weren't going to take the weapons." She murmured. Stupid statement, Harue knew. Everyone lied these days. Everyone lied about everything. "As I asked you before..." She continued, "why are you thretaning us?"

"I haven't taken them, I've confiscated them," Daray said mildly. "You can get them back after." "I am threatening you to avoid any bodily harm you might try to inflict upon me," he said, smiling. He gestured to the wound. "I'd get that bandaged." With that he pulled another bandage from his cloak. They always came in handy, and saved him the trouble of ripping strips off his cloak. He tossed it to Harue, along with a roll of medical tape.

Harue didn't even glanced at it. She kept her eyes focused on Daray. what was his motive? If he had just gone by on his business they wouldn't have harmed him. Maybe questioned him but not harm. What did he want?

Daray looked from one face to the next. A fox, a crow and what appeared to be a merc. He looked at Harue. "I need some information," he said, and gestured for her to follow him. As he was walking away he stopped and looked at the oother two. "just...wait here, okay?" He knew quite well that they would be gone by the time he got back, but there was nothing he could do about it.

Harue hesitated again then cautiously followed him. 'Alone. He wants me to follow him, alone. If he wants information about the foxes, they'd know where he had got it from. But was that really thie kind of information he wants?' She thought.

Daray led her out of earshot of the others. "I need to know about the current fox leader," he said. "It's been awhile since I've concerned myself with the dealings of the Fox, but there is something I need." He knew what she was thinking. "And it has nothing to do with an assassination." He sighed. "It's been a long time since I've had to assassinate someone myself, but I fear it might come to that soon enough." He smiled. "In exchange I offer you protection from the Fox gang, in case they try to...get rid of you."
