{This is set in a time in the future where teens from around the world have revealed their powers to the rest of humanity. As can be expected, not many are too keen on the idea of living with 'mutants' and so a compromise had to be met. It was either kill the mutants (for again, as perceived, not all were good, and many were terrorizing humanity) or send them to internment camps. Neither option was a good one for the teenagers so, due to the previous years of cultivating Mars, the planet had finally become stable enough to support life. In order to avoid war, the humans and mutant leaders come to an agreement. The mutant teens will take refuge on Mars, and the humans will continue to live in peace on Earth.
The only problem with this is the rebellious mutants out for power. After all, what would a story be without them? They have created an underground base on a more deserted part of Mars. Within it lies large white cells like you might find in a psych ward. The leader of the Black Crow Syndicate (the evil mutants) has the ability to control metal and as such, binds the prisoners with a stranger alloy that has an immunity to their powers. The Rebels (good mutants rebelling against the syndicate) have however developed a small tool that is able to shatter this metal, and have freed a few prisoners with it by sneaking into the base.
The leader of the syndicate is planning an attack on earth that will destroy humanity as we know it, and after such, he will take the mutants that are willing to join him as his followers and rule over Earth and Mars, and kill the remaining rebels.
Whether or not this happens depends on the RP. We need Prisoners, Rebels, someone willing to take the role of the leader, and Syndicate lackeys. You may not be neutral. Have fun.}

Takara Mitsu had been waging guerrilla warfare on the Syndicate for a while now, but her job had changed. She moved from hit and run on guards to search and rescue in front of the leader. Of all things. She gave a small sigh as she lurked outside the underground building, three guards lying unconscious but meters from her. One of them she was a little unsure about as to whether or not he was even alive. She gave a nervous glance back to them, then brought her gaze back to the path that lied in front of her. She needed to infiltrate the building and find someway to distract the leader...set off an alarm...something. She gave another exasperated sigh and looked around for anything that could help. Not finding anything outside the building, she muttered, "...Here goes notihng..." and hopped in a small manhole passage coming to a stop about 7 feet down, where her boots landed with a soft 'thud.'
Seeing a guard running at her she gave a small grunt and ducked a shot, then brought a foot to his shin, forced a small stun weapon from his hand, and elbowed him unconscious. Kicking him to the side she dusted herself off and spoke in a whispered sarcasm to herself, "...he's really got to find better lackeys..." Traveling down one of the paths cautiously she kept an eye out for anymore guards, and anything she might be able to use to distract the leader.
Takara was one of the better operatives with the rebels. While she had lived on Earth, her parents had taught her a great deal of Ninjutsu, and with her ability to control air currents of any form, her senses were greatly 'heightened.' After all, scent and sound did travel on air waves. Her hair was a raven black and her eyes were dark brown. She had pulled her hair into a tight bun with a few stray strands strewn about her face and she was clad in a pair of Cami pants and a form fitting black top for stealth purposes.

(yay, a new roleplay! ;D I'll be a Syndicate lackey. Yeah. But like, an officer, sort of. Not like, "Stiny, fetch me a danish!" lackey. An important lackey.
Maybe more than two people will join this one. Come on everyone, we need a roleplay that like, more tan the creator and I participate in. All of our roleplays have 2 people, at most. It's just no fun.)

"Ahh, I can't believe I'm doing this." Arun muttered, sitting with several other Crows in a rough circle. They were sitting here, the entire guard for this level, on a tip. Of course, he knew they were here so they could all be dispatched in one shot, so he wasn't exactly thrilled. Two were playing cards, another one was listening to music, and the last three talking about the uniforms. Arun, as an 'Elite' (Read 'Extra-strength cannon fodder'), didn't wear a uniform, but instead simple black pants and a T-shirt. The reason he was so high? Extremely high strength and endurance packed into an only slightly built frame. Also an aptitude with both simple weapons and a hand gun made him the obvious choice for any single-man operations. And this was a single man operation. Unless, of course, the Rebels would actually provide the support they had promised. Arun thought this unlikely at best. But then, he was always a bit mistrustful, and working with those he had been fighting - And beating with relative ease- didn't do much to alleviate the situation...
Blue eyes scanned the distance. Unlike the others, he could see something coming...

Frank leaned against a wall in one of the narrow hallways of the Syndicate Headquarters. His face was pale, and seemed almost transparent, which caused his deep blue eyes to stand out even more. He chewed a nail on his right hand vigorously, looking from left to right. He wore a shirt whose pale grey color was uncannily similar to his skin. The top button was undone, and the untucked bottom fell to just below his waist. The blue jeans were well fitting, and his shoes were a clean white. He turned his head slightly and spat out a piece of nail. He had been standing there for quite some time now, exactly as he was now. He was deep in the base, an area only a select few were able to go. Frank wondered whether it was his rank or the difficult problem of keeping him out that had granted him access to the area. Frank assumed it was a bit of both, and ran his hand through the tuft of blond hair that sat untidily on his head. He heard footsteps echoing down the hall, and Frank suddenly vanished. He sank into the wall until all he could see was an absolute darkness. He could still hear everything that was going on around him, although there was a low roar in his ears. He heard the person pass, and once he was sure whoever it was had left, emerged from the wall, rematerialising in the same pose he had been in when he had left.

Takara tread carefully on the steel floors, a small current dragging beneath her feet to alleviate the sound of clinking boots upon metal. Peering around a corner she noted the circle of Syndicate guards and leaned back onto the one wall hiding her from view. She looked about in an attempt to find another opening, a way she could get past them, anything, but was at a loss for a distraction. She was good, but there was only a slim chance of her taking on that many at a time. Not to mention that she had no knowledge of all of their powers, only about three of them. A light sigh escaped her lips, and she peeked around the corner for a brief second once more then gazed at the ceiling, looking for a vent of sorts.
What about floating over them? No...they'd feel the current and look up. Besides, some of them were actually decent guards and would sense her. She glared some and tossed about the idea of fighting them all. As though answering her question she managed to make out a semi-hidden panel in the wall behind her. Quietly pulling it open she grinned at the mass of wires within. This would be far too easy. Grabbing a handful she ripped the cords from the wall, quickly replaced the panel and positioned herself flat against the ceiling with the help of a small concentrated air current.
Alarms resonated through the base and voices could be heard over a loud speaker dispatching certain groups of people, she could only hope this one would be one of them.

The circle looked up in alarm, most starting for the elevators. There was obviously a problem upstairs, right. Arun sighed. Well, at least they had provided something ... Waiting for all the guards to clear out, he picked up a pistol and put it into the hidden holster in his pant leg, then waved vaguely as he stood. "About time." He muttered.

Frank stared at the hall's flashing red light with a sort of grim contempt. It felt as if the alarms hadn't stopped sounding once during the past few months. The lights flickered ominously. Frank sighed. Time to get to work. He floated up through the levels of the base until he emerged in one in which there was no light. He resolidified in this hall and walked over to a panel from which many broken wires hung, sparks flying from their ends. This was going to take awhile. He phased through several floors until he emerged in a small bunk area. He pulled a silver briefcase out from under the bed and carried it with him as he went back to the panel. Opening his briefcase, he set to work.
(Frank the electrician! ;D)

Takara grinned some as she slowly let herself down form the ceiling and brushed off her jeans. Her green hues looked up to Arun and she gave a little shrug and a sheepish smile, "Sorry I'm late. Couldn't find the damn panel, and I couldn't very well come barging in here with all of them..." she tossed her head back a bit to indicate the others, "...sitting around in a little circle now could I?" She gave a little sigh then looked down the halls, everyone seemed to have gone down to see what the alarm was about, save for a few stragglers. That wasn't much of a problem though. With the two of them, they were easily eliminated.
Gesturing a leather gloved hand she motioned for Arun to follow, "Let's go, I'm sure that will only distract them for a short while." With that she began heading off toward the center of the base where the leader and the cells filled with gifted teenagers were.
The trick about the cells was that they held within them realistic holograms programed to simulate that particular person's worst nightmare. Even if they were rescued, some of them would be completely insane, having cracked from the repeated exposure to fear at those levels. Another problem, was that the chains binding them were virtually unbreakable. They were controlled by one of the leader's assistants with the power to control metal of all forms. they did as he said. Fortunately for the rebels, they had developed a small tool that could cut off the connection between the metal and the master, but that didn't stop it from still being a very risky operation. They still had to get past the leader who was probably sitting on his/her little pedestal already. Despite the odds stacked against them, Takara continued forward peering around corners for any lagging guards.

Frank hummed tunelessly as he phased into the wall and took a look at the wiring. He assessed the situation, then phased back out, grabbing various wires and a small tool. For several minutes he clipped, twisted and rewired the entire panel, and after all this the lights flickered to life. He phased out of the wall, put everything back in their case and shut the panel. The small door blended seamlessly with the rest of the wall, and it was practically invisible. Frank returned the case to his room, then made his way to the cells containing the prisoners. The alarms had finally ceased, but Frank knew all too well how easily the alarms could be shut off. It was just as he suspected as he watched the intruders attempting to free prisoners. He carefully phased until he was nearly invisible, the made his way to the intruders. He came up behind them silently, until he was only a couple of feet behind them. "I'm sorry, visiting hours are from 8 until 4, you'll have to come back later." His voice was faded, but produced an echo. There was a delay between when his lips moved and the words were audible. The effect was eerie.
