Jenna stared then shook her head, leafing through papers on her desk. "You must mean the childish one, 7269QC, Abby, it likes to call itself. It's not exactly new. We rescued it a couple months ago. I'm sorry we didn't get you caught up on it. We're not exactly sure if it's to be trusted. MInd blowing powers, I know. The scientist created it out of many dangerous things and a little girl. Been locked up in a cage half its life." She explained then looked up at Auryon. "Besides, we don't have to tell you everything now do we? Some things are better kept as secrets. 7269QC might not even be perminately staying. It's unstable. But we're supposed to give everything a chance. I saw it get into a fight earlier. It might have been trying to help but it could have seriously injured one of the better trained mutants. And it's too childish to believe, you'd think it'd have some sort of maturity for being 14 years old and able to tap into more than 60 percent of it's brain." Jenna stacked a heap of papers into a file and looked at Auryon again. "You aren't a mindless beast, I'll give you that, but you are under the government's command. And your help with 7269QC is not needed. Your help isn't needed with any new recruits. Just mind your own business, Auryon."

Loki watched Auryon go curiously, his head thingyed and ears twitching. Turning back to Shadowclaw, he grinned slightly. "You kinda let go for a second there." he said quietly. "Don't get so distracted by others when you're in that mood." "Don't tell me what to do!" Shadowclaw snarled fiercely, then sighed heavily, putting a taloned hand to his head. "Sorry," he mumbled.

The Utahraptor spat, "I was locked up in a cage for half my life! Do I look like a failure? I have been away from here for quite a while. I still want to know these things." She clenched her fists, pricking herself with her claws but ignoring the pain. This woman could have her imprisoned. It wouldn't look good, but she could do it. Breathing out noisily, Auryon stood as straight as her spine would allow and marched out of the room without another word, head held high. She arrived in the vast library, pulling leather caps onto her claws so that the books would not be damaged. She sat down in front of a low table and pulled out a pen from the drawer, along with a plastic case. The pen was wrapped in duct tape so she could grasp it easily. Inside the case was a pair of large half-moon glasses. They pinched on over her muzzle. She needed them because her eyes were made for seeing long distances, like a hawk's. Anything closer than arm's length tended to be blurry and she had difficulty focussing. Sitting quietly and writing would make her feel better.
((Once I drew a pic of Auryon wearing her glasses. Funniest thing ever. She's not on my DevArt yet and I don't have any really good art up yet because I only have a camera. Just Scraps.))

Shadowclaw sighed, then lanced at Loki, who had looked at the door. "Go do something else, and get out of here, okay? I'd suggest the library." the panther-boy said. Shadowclaw nodded, then stalked out of the room towards the library.

(I have DevArt too! Small world!) Abby sat in an unoccupied hallway, stroking the doll's yarn hair. "We don't have to listen to them, Matilda. My childhood was taken away from me but I have it back because I've got you." She murmured. The dolls button eyes seemed to flicker in the fluorescent lighting. Abby looked up. The lights were shabby and they dramatically reminded her of the lights in the room she had been locked up in, all by herself. She gasped suddenly, standing and looking at Matilda. "I really don't like this place." She said, gently taking the doll's hand and putting it to its chest. "It hurts right here when I'm alone. You're company's great Matilda but...no one else notices you. And that's what makes it kind of lonely. If no one notices me with my best friend, no one notices me." She walked down the hall, stopping at a wooden door and opening it. She saw a couple mutants in there and a few humans. One of the mutants that had been in the fight was sitting at a table, glasses perched on her nose. Abby sighed, gripping Matilda's doll hand tightly and opening the door, just enough so she could pass through. The room was full of books. What was the word for this place?...A...Li....something...A library. That's it. She closed the door quietly so she would be descrete. She didn't want any eyes on her, but the few humans did notice her, watching warily. Abby made her way down an isle. She had no idea what she was looking for, if anything. She touched the spine of a thick book with a red finger and pulled it out, plopping down in the corner. In the book there were many paintings and pictures. With Matilda in her lap so she could see easily, she stared at the artwork, puzzled and amazed by the beauty of it.
(...GOSH I love how childish Abby is. X3)

Shadowclaw slipped insode the library, took a look around, then growled angrily to himself as he spotted Auryon. /I swear, Loki is DEAD./ he thought to himself as he realized why the panther-boy had sent him there.
