I like funny music. You know, instrumental stuff. Nothing by a hit new band or anything, but not Mozart stuff, either... Like the music in all Brent Silby's net games... It seems better to me... Anyone else like that out there?

It depends on what you define as "funny" for example in the humor music industry, I can't help but like "The Arrogant Worms." As for instrumentals, how can one possibly overlook all the classic Midi's from the age of the NES, SNES and sega genisis? Do yourself a favor and go download some Chrono Trigger music, you will be glad you did (especialy if you find a good rendition of Frog's Theme).
The problem with calling any music as odd, or strange, is that no matter where you go, there is a large net following one can find, so no music is unique, just hard to find localy.

Like zoinq said, it depends on what you mean by "funny." I'm not a huge fan of humorous music, like Weird Al and The Arrogant Worms. I do like the Weird Al Star Wars remake of American Pie, being a die-hard fan of the movies. Instrumental music is awesome though. Especially all that cool techno stuff. Gotta love techno. Then there's instrumental rock. Metallica does lots of that. To Live is to Die and Call of Ktulu are a couple of examples. Great songs. I don't understand how instrumental rap works. What instruments? Isn't rap defined by the incessant yammering of preferably black artists to a bland, repetitive beat? Take away the yammering and you get...rhythm? Don't ask me. I don't know about MIDIs though. I find them kind of annoying, but then I'm more used to MIDI versions of guitar tabs than I am MIDI game songs. I should really get a SNES, they're just so hard to find these days. I can't find any Segas either. My local Microplay has games for both Genesis and Dreamcast, but no system. At least, not on display.
