War

[Mullet Fish]

My friend called me up about fifteen minutes ago asking if I wanted to go see War in about an hour and a half at Jazzfest.
For those of you who don't know who War is, shame on you.
It's a really awesome Jazz band.
Anyways it should be cool. We're going to line up for about 3 hours, but then I guess I can't complain after lining up for 9 hours for Episode 3.
Tickets are only $22 too. War is pretty famous too. You've probably heard the song Low Rider. It's only used in about a dozen movies.

Okay, it was a pretty awesome concert, and although it seems no one visits these boards anymore, I'll post about it.

It was a cool concert. The opening band "The Architects" was kind of annoying. Sort of, Simple Plan whiny vocals. War was awesome though. It was like, a 2 hour show, with a fifteen minute encore.

So yeah it was pretty cool.

Then last night we went and saw Dr. Joe, as well as The Neville Brothers. They were both awesome, the Neville Brothers moreso.

So yeah, Bluesfest is pretty awesome. I think Simple Plan is going. Bleh. Black Eyed Peas were there at one point, and K-OS was playing on the main stage during the Neville Brothers. I think Neville Brothers should have had the main stage. Instead they packed 3 000 people into a field about the size of a soccer field. It was not comfy.

Yeah, so we're going to go see ZZ Top on Thusday. It should be pretty awesome.
