First off I'd like to say that these boards are colder than a Canadian spring. Actually I shouldn't complain, as it's pretty nice outside right now. 15 degrees Celsius or something. Tropical for this time of the year.
Right, my point is I'm trying to heat up the boards.
Okay, I'm posting here about all the flak George Bush has been recieving lately. People are never happy, it seems, unless they're crapping on some political figure. I personally think that Bush is a fine president. He does a better than 99% of all people who complain about him could do. I think Kerry is a slimeball, because he tries to be a waar hero and anti-war at the same time. That just bugs me.
Who agrees or disagrees?

Well I'm not so good with debating, but I'm just angry that he spent over $3,000,000 sending something towards a meterorite or something just to see what happens. Sure, maybe they want to know more about the meterorite's contents were, but why? Couldn't he have spent the money more efficently, on many of the other problems?

Oh don't worry about offending me. The only way you could really offend me is by insulting my religion, but I'm not going to tell you what that religion is, so HA! Besides, I'm a Canadian citizen so my opinion of American politics doesn't officially count. Brad Brad

Yeah I'm not too fond of Kerry myself...he just sort of bugs the crap out of me. Its like the thing I have when the TV is on and no one's watching it...and Elmo is singing over and over and over and over...
But that's not what this board is about so I'll shut up...
George just makes better sense about everything and Kerry said that he would bring all our boys and girls home from Iraq. Now I'm a bit of a peaceful person and I don't like war but bringing them home would tell Iraq that we were weak. It would also make us more prone to terrorist attacks. Just my opinion...

Yeah, and what bugs me even more is people who don't try to think of why Bush does these things. I mean, they honestly think he does these things because he enjoys it, or is stupid. He got backed into a corner with the whole Iraq thing. So he didn't find any weapons. So what? He couldn't just not go over and hope there were no weapons. Then of course they'll argue that he could have done so peacefully. Right. And he could have just asked the fanatics of Saddam to step aside for a second while we search your country. Mhm. Also, statistics like, "over 40 000 civilians died during the American occupation." Yeah. Of what? They fail to mention how many deaths there are per day anyways, plus unrelated killings, etc. In closing, I think people need to develop political views based on something other than a Michael Moore movie. I agree. My newspaper is Ultima-Liberal, and they say things like 'Nobody in their right mind would ever want Bush for their leader'. Are they saying that over half of us are out of our minds? Because we elected him. Remember? Also, I think these types own the media... Did you see all the funny faces when Kerry gave up the last state? It was extreme where I am... But is that on topic?

Very good topic, being from a Bush centered town in Texas, I like Bush and have a good temperment with him, I may not understand some of the things he does, but it is his choice since he is the president. Building on your statements, I do not like Kerry in the least bit because I didn't think when he was saying he would do all those things he was saying he was going to do, would actually happen, I don't think they ever will. So if I were old enough to vote, I would vote for Bush. I think he is a good president, end of statement.

Yeah. But people don't understand how much pressure is on Bush. I mean, he couldn't just sort of leave Iraw alone and hope they weren't stockpiling nuclear weapons. If they did he would be blamed for not taking action. I don't think people realize that.
Kerry bugs me. Plain and simple.
Plus, Bush's daughters are HOT.
