There's rarely deaths in a normal birth now-a-days. In an abortion they're actually taking the baby out of the woman with tools whether the woman's ready or not. With anesthesia you aren't supposed to feel anything. You might feel pain afterwards but you aren't supposed to during the process. God didn't let people have sex so they could just kill the baby. And I feel that its wrong to have sex before marraige because there's the chance that you won't be financially ready as well as emotional damage can occur. We watched a movie this year where there were about a dozen girls who got pregnant before marraige and only one of the boyfriends stayed with them and he was a 14 year old kid.

They don't kill the baby. What about birth control pills? What's the threat if you have sex before marriage knowing that you won't have a baby?

.....Not much I guess. I just I think its wrong, is all. Its a religion concept, nothing medical really. If you abort a baby, you kill it. Taking it out of the woman is killing it. It won't survive they way an abortion works because the woman isn't ready to have the baby and the baby isn't ready either. It is possible for a pre-mature baby to live if it is born after 5 or 6 months but usually that doesn't happen unless the woman "falls down the basement stairs". So yea, I never said there was much threat with sex before marraige if you are taking birth control. I just said that I thought it was wrong. Sometimes birth control doesn't even work. But if you don't have birth control the threat can be, like I said, emotional and financial. A big threat of sex before marraige is STD's. You'd think that somone would tell their partner, "Oh yeah, before we have sex, I want you to know that I have an STD" but usually people don't even know they have it. We watched another movie (Gosh, we watch too many sex movies at my school) and a man and a woman married and had a baby but the baby started having sezures after it was born. It was the result of Gonoreha (I totally spelled that wrong) from the man. He said he thought it was cured because it hadn't come back. So there are a lot of risks. Back to abortion, to me its just murder, plain and simple.

Okay Insanity, looks like it's you and me on this one.
If a baby is born, and lives, it's going to die eventually anyway. You've just skipped a few years. And say that were the baby born, the parents wouldn't be able to support it, and it would starve and have a very unpleasant upbringing. That doesn't seem very humane to me. And say you put it up for adoption. I read somewhere that kids that don't know their birth parents have a higher suicide rate and stuff. I also read somewhere that you can get high off the inside of banana peels, but that's irrelevant.
We had another contraception presentation yesterday. Apparently, the birth control pill is 99.9% effective if taken perfectly. Those are pretty good odds to me. Some girl I know said that you can't get the pill if you're under 16 without parental consent, but I think confidentiality is somewhere under the Canada Health Act, and that if the doctor/nurse/whatever shares information with people after the patient has expressed that they did not wish their information to be disclosed to others, they can get in big trouble. Well, I think there are statistics or something they send information to, but that's anonymous. Like, even if someone pregnant goes in, even if their under 18 their parents don't need to be included in the decision.
But I digress. This is such a weird argument. Usually it's the males who are the right-to-lifers, because they want to feel they have control over females. Odd.
Anyway, I don't feel that abortion is any kind of murder. How do you think chickens feel? They lay their babies, and then we take them and scramble them or fry them or hard-boil them. I mean, at least with human abortions we just throw the stuff out. With chickens we eat them. Yuck.

....CHICKENS ARE ANIMALS. PUT ON THIS EARTH TO SERVE HUMANS IN ALL WAYS THEY CAN. Also, a chicken doesn't really care. I would know. My grandparents used to raise chickens and I'd always go in and collect the eggs. The chickens do nothing to protect their young, really.
And now we're moving on to a chicken topic....
I guess we're all sort of opinionated. I'm just saying that there are facts that abortion can hurt people, and I wouldn't want one. Painful.

^^^ Exactly. ^^^ I think my bio teacher told me that something in the egg...I forget what it's called (it's a tiny white dot) is what the male fertizlizes. I don't know how that happens tthough. Because if the two chickens have sex, then why is the little white thing still there after the egg is broken open? And the male can't fertizlize the egg while it's in the shell. It confused me. And when you told me that you can get high off the inside of bananananana peels I cackled. Fer' serious. It was weird.

....Zygote? Or am I thinking plants? :\
Why is it that I want to go into my kitchen and get a banana right now to test it out?
And I mean hurt people as in, MENTALLY. (i'm sure I've said this about 5 times now) It can cause the woman to have problems having another child, it can cause depression and suicide attempts.
*shakes head and huddles into a corner* I don't even want to argue about it anymore. Heaven knows I will though.

Me: Whaaaaaat? Mog: Another words, abortion is bad, kupo. Me: Ooooohhhh... Mog: T_T0
We are supposed to have children. It's Heavenly Father's will whether ot not the mother dies, ok? But abortion isn't part of the plan. YOU'RE KILLING INNOCENT PEOPLE WHO HAVEN'T HAD A CHANCE TO LIVE!!!!!!!!!!

*shudders and thinks of the abortion comic in her freaky weird bible*
Baby: "I was going to be a doctor!" Other Baby: "Whyyy?!" Another baby: "I thought you loved us!" Another baby: "I would have saved the world!"
No seriously...thats what the comic said.

Kilisa, when you have an abortion your not killing a person. I don't know much (anything) about Mormans, but is Heavenly Father the same as God? And doesn't God love everyone? So wouldn't he care when one of them dies? You guys think abortion is bad because the fetus has a right to live, right? What about the woman? Going through nine months of pain and discomfort leading up to the immense pain of birth just to have a baby that she didn't want? Shouldn't the woman have rights too?

-_____-' Well, duh, Insane Bandit. We're kinda girls here, we know that. But I can see how you can get girls confused with boys. I mean, we do have the female body structure. Its not that different from a man's. No, not that different at all. Also Whyte Phoenix is gender confused. OH! I DID NOT JUST GO THERE! Yeah...Heavenly Father is obviously God. and once again...duh. God cares whether someone lives or dies. The thing is, the plus side to dying is that you go to heaven (unless you were bad). And didn't I just say that it is very very VERY rare for a woman to die during birth nowadays?...That's what I thought. According to Wickapedia 1 in 3700 mothers in North America die of child birth. Really, that's not a high number. Short answer once again: Abortion is WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG (the lis goes on!)

Seriously. If a woman didn't want to have the kid in the first place, then why fool around without protection?
