It looked somewhat dismayed at the fact that it's former solid hold on the ground had been replaced by about a thousand feet of air. Not that it hadn't thought about that after the first time it saw the teleporter. Looking down, it started forming green blasts of energy which it threw down at the ground below, slowing his fall below maximum velocity. The entire street was covered in scorch marks before it hit the ground, still creating a large indent...

Daray watched the ting land heavily on the ground. He sighed, as it wasn't nearly heavily enough. He wheezed slightly and stood up yet again. The last teleport had tired him out like nothing else. He walked over to the crater where the thing had landed, stumbling only twice.

It stood rather unsteadily, tarmac sticking to it, growling at the approach of all five enemies... It squinted. Right, only one now. It set it's metal staff up to strike... As soon as he stopped stepping around...

As the thing brought the rod down quickly towards his head, he sidestepped gracelessly. The rod left a large dent in the ground. Daray blinked dumbly, as he stumbled around gracelessly. He stepped on the rod and his knife darted towards the thing's face.

IT shouted out in pain as the blade sliced across the left side of it's face, creating a large gash. Angry, it charged him with a surprising speed for something thus injured.

Daray hopped about, despite his fatigue. He smiled at the slice on it's face, and sheathed his knife. He remembered when he had etched his name into a tree, and had found the tree withered and black the next day. He had some sort of immunity to it, although it still affected him. He had pricked his thumb once, a cut he hadn't noticed. That is, until his thumb turned an ugly, pulsating purple and had swollen to twice it's size. It hurt like a mother, although it vanished without a trace after a day or two. There had been no permanent damage, although there was still a black dot where the cut had been. Daray kept the thing busy, watching as the cut turned suddenly to a pure black. Daray knew it would be experiencing searing pain.

It stopped suddenly. Something was stinging along the side of it's face... The thing scratched off a layer, looking at it. It then threw it in the air before charging after the intruder once more...

Daray groaned inwardly. There was no stopping this thing. He waited until the thing was almost on him. As the thing threw itself at Daray, he grabbed it's arm and rolled backwards. As it was over him his knife plunged deep into it's belly, and made an ugly gash as he extended his legs forcefully, sending the thing cleanly over him. He got up.

It exhaled slowly, standing up. Ow. That hurt... It sat down, toying with several ideas in it's mind...

Daray wheezed. His legs felt like jelly. He coughed, a harsh, gristly sound. A drop of blood rolled off his dry lips and landed on the ground. He wiped his mouth with the back of his hand and sat down.

"Beh." The thing muttered. It had to stop now. Well, not exactly had, more like wanted to. It wanted to regenerate all those holes that funny thing had made...

Daray looked at the thing, wondering if it would attack again. He was too tired to fight. He swayed slightly and passed out.

It looked blearily over at the intruder. It was done. The thing got up unsteadily, taking a step over twards it. Suddenly it decided that mabe it wasn't feeling quite so nice... It sat down with a bump, poking itself in the stomach. Ow... It was going to rest now...
