Springtime was quickly covering Hogwarts castle. The grass was becoming a lush green, flowers were blooming around the borders, and even the Whomping Willow was in the spirit with a few little blossoms and beautiful leaves. The cold chill of winter was soon to be forgotten as a calming moderate temperature moved in. But the beautiful weather was not the only reason students were anxious to finish up.
Today was Friday, and the last class of the day was about to start. Students in every part of the hallway were talking and hurrying to their next class so the day would finally be over. However, Circe Malfoy was still within the confines of her Charms class, and antsy as ever as the professor continued to talk to her about her failed exam, "Uh huh...yes sir...okay...I understand..." A look of anxiety crossed her slender face as she eyed the large clock at the back of the classroom. Her legs couldn't keep still, and as soon as the professor dismissed her she ran from the room and began sprinting to her potions class. Usually she would walk with Lily and James or Sirius and every now and then Remus, however, today she was fairly late and the only thing on her mind was getting there before the bell...too late. The sound of a bell resonated through the halls, and Circe was but inches from her classroom. She skidded around a corner, and right into the stone dungeon door of the room. She paused for a moment to acknowledge the wound, but soon pushed open the door, and attempted to sneak into the room.
"Ms. Malfoy! Ten Points from Slytherin for your tardiness. Next time be on time, or don't come at all. I can't have you constantly disrupting my class." Circe groaned and took a seat on the opposite side of Lily, as the right side was occupied by James. Looking around she caught the loathing daggers of Severus's glare for the points and dully noted them. She opened up her book to the page they were covering and only half listened to the words spilling from the professor's mouth.
Circe was 17 and cousin to Lucius Malfoy. Her reputation in Slytherin was about as ridiculous as they come. The girl was put in the house for two reasons, she's a Malfoy, and she's a troublemaker. However, she conveyed none of the animosity that most in the house did. In fact, she was rather upbeat and friendly most of the time. She spent most of her time hanging outside the GCR and occasionally sneaking in with Lily to talk with the "group" around the warm fire. A welcome change from the cold dungeons of Slytherin. Circe was a prankster, and while she was best friends with Lily, she spent most of her time with Sirius and James in detention.
Mid-back length raven black hair spilled in loose curls over her shoulders, and dark green eyes watched the professor in boredom. Her body was a slender shapely one usually covered within the confines of heavy robes. Circe was definitely going to need to go over this lesson later...for now, she plotted a way to "liven up" the class.
