OoC| Ah, I'm bored and have decided to create a thread. It is alice in wonderland, although a darker version. It's based on Lewis Carrol's 'alice in wonderland' and 'through the looking glass'. I'll have a plot thing going on... er something. -shrug- Post coming.

This land once was normal, as normal as it could have ever been. However, now it looked as if it had been chewed up, spit out, and basically ravaged to a bleak, desolate area. The sun's light was a crimson red, the trees black and morphed, with only a few thorny shrubs to keep them company. Not only was the earth twisted into something it was not, the creatures were also.
That fact was undeniable as one could find the regularly sweet of appearance (if not personality) talking flowers, looking dead and grey. Their petals were limp and no color nor fragrance emanated from them. Their small round faces were depressed, eyes as red as the sun, and teeth dried from blood and flesh. The residents of this land were known as being mad, however they were never known as murderers. Now they were both insane and blood-thirsty.
A large cat with dark purple fur, and thick stripes only a shade lighter than the main color walked in the Tulgey Wood, his eyes bright yellow and veined with scarlet. Claws clicked against the rocky path he followed, his bushy tail swinging languidly from side to side as he uttered a soft song, "'Twas brillig and the slithy toves, did gyre and gimble in the wabe. All mimsy were the borogoves, and the mome raths outgrabe..."
His soft voice dabbed with menace trailed off as he chuckled, his face twisted unpleasently into a large grin, revealing teeth as sharp as blades. It was her fault for the change of Wonderland, the Chesire Cat was sure of it. All he would need to do was get young Alice back here and... the Chesire Cat chuckled again, his claws scraping the stones beneath him. Eyes flashing, he jumped lightly into the bough of a tree, slowly dispersing into the shadows, so only his eyes showed.
He continued his song, "Beware the jabberwock, my son... The jaws that bite, the claws that catch. Beware the jubjub bird and shun the frumious Bandersnatch." With a high-pitched giggle, he appeared again, head laying against the tree, and one eye closed. The other stayed open, rolling upward so only the yellow of his eye showed, a sign that the Chesire Cat had fallen into a light slumber.
That was how most people of Wonderland slept nowadays, with one eye open. The Tulgey Wood writhed with menace, claws were gouged deeply in the barks of the trees, and old blood stained the grounds. A sick smell of rotten flesh managed to plague the stagnant air and the leaves were dark and fleshy, thorns surrounding the outside of them. A sharp caw startled the Chesire Cat awake, annoyance suddenly sketched onto his face.
Eyes dark, differing greatly from his glued on grin, he disappeared again, only his eyes and mouth showing. He couldn't sleep now, so he began to sing in an evil drone, "He took his vorpal sword in hand: long time the manxome foe he sought. So rested he by the Tumtum tree, and stood awhile in thought." His voice once soft, rose in volume and a blood haze glittered in his eyes, "And as in uffish thought he stood. The Jabberwock with eyes of flame, came whiffling throught the tulgey wood, and burbled as it came! One... two! One... two! And through... and through. The vorpal blade went snicker-snack. He left it dead and with its head... He went galumping back..."
The Chesire Cat snickered, that was his favorite part, the fifth verse. He placed his head onto his paws, and stared through a rare crack in the thick, overlapping foliage. In the distance he sighted the silhouette of the Queen's castle. The Chesire Cat shuddered. Once Alice left, things began to change, and it all started at the Queen's castle. Her usual screams of "off with his head" were not feared by those of Wonderland, until of course, she actually became serious with her threat. Corpses without heads rotted the castle grounds, heads stuck over the walls on stakes like trophies. Some say the Heart of the Cards (the main energy source of Wonderland) cracked. They would need to bring Alice to the Heart, and make her fix what she had broken...
Humming his song, he fell back asleep.

OoC| Long post for the likes of me... . Ah well, made-ups are allowed (although not too many, we need the originals too!) Follow the usual rules for roleplaying... and I guess that's all. ^^
