I can't wait until this comes out. I'm reserving tickets for opening day, and my friends and I are ditching school and dressing up as characters. It's going to be crazy. The movie itself looks pretty awesome. Here's a link for a trailer: movies.channel.aol.com/feature/starwars/trailer.adpWhat do you guys think? Anyone else hyped? ;D Brad

Okay okay, update.
Advance tickets went on sale Thursday, and I was up at like, 8, ordering them online. I've got tickets reserved for opening day, the 6:40 show.
My friend saw Two Towers opening night, and said there were at least 100 people there three hours early. I figure this'll be waay bigger than any Lord of the Rings movies, so we're going to be there 4-5 hours early, which means I'll have to take time off school. ;D
So this is going to be a totally awesome movie, I swear.

You haven't...seen...Star Wars? Do you like, live under a rock or something? I mean, Star Wars is a major staple in the film industry. I mean, it revolutionized the whole special effects deal. I mean, stuff like that had never been done before. How can you not have seen any Star Wars movies? Do yourself a favor and go out and rent all three. I mean, you can't begin to appreciate any spoofs or impressions of Star Wars if you haven't seen any of the movies.
Oh, and my friends have decided that we're going to go even earlier. Like, we're going to be waiting outside/inside the theatre for 9 to 10 hours. It's going to be a long wait. I'm meeting one friend at school, and we're taking the city bus down to the theatre, where friend B will be waiting. We'll get something to eat at Starbucks, and commence waiting. Then we wait. And wait. And wait.
Heh heh and to celebrate, I got a new icon. Go Yoda!

Check my location, it DOES say I live under a rock. With a muffin ^^. I'm not really into space/ sci fi movies either.

But it's such a great movie, even those who aren't fond of sci-fi like it. Plus it's such a classic, you can't afford to not see it. I think they should add certain movies to the school curriculums. Like the Godfather, Star Wars. Classics that you pretty much HAVE to see in today's society.

It's pretty easy to understand. It's just Anakin (Darth Vader to-be) and Obi-Wan Kenobi, his teacher, fighting the Clone Wars. The dudes in white, like the one in my signature, are Clone Troopers. THey're on the Republic's side, so they're good. The republic is the side that all the Jedi are on (the ones with the light sword things). All the droid things are the Separtist armies, and they're bad. Even if you don't understand it you have to appreciate the crazy fight-scenes.

Haha nice. I was a Jedi for Halloween...oh it must have been 2000. When I was 10. It was pretty cool. Star Wars is coming out tomorrow! I can't wait. Our show is at 6:40 PM, and we're going to line up at about 9:30 AM. We're going to be waiting for about 9 hours. I get a day off school and everything. It looks like it's going to be so awesome. Here's a link for the "A Hero Falls" music video, which is almost like a trailer. I looks sweet. www.starwars.com/episode-iii/release/trailer/10.html(you need Quicktime 6 to view it)

It is currently 8:16 AM, and I'm preparing to depart for my school, where my friend and I will rendezvous, hop on a bus and head down to Silver City, where we shall begin the 9 hour wait until 6:40 PM.
I was picking up the tickets last night, and saw the people lined up for the midnight show. It was crazy. It was only 9:30 PM, but there was at least 400 people lined up outside the theatre. Then some awesome dudes came out, one dressed as a Storm Trooper, one dressed as Darth Vader, one dressed as an Imperial Guard, one dressed as Boba Fett (check the icons in your profile to see who I'm talking about), one dressed as a Jedi and one dressed as Emperor Palpatine. It was crazy! The costumes were so awesome. They were like, replicas of the movie costumes. It was awesome.
Then there were the droves of people who had those extendable lightsabres, and a handful had Clone Trooper masks. It was awesome, I wish I was dressing up.
But it'll still be awesome. Nine hours. That's a long time to wait. Still, at least I'll have my friends there to talk to.
This is going to be awesome.
It's 8:22 AM now, and I guess it's time to move out.
May the force be with me.
;D
