Phantom of the Opera Characters
Ren
Age: 6
Eyes: Deep blue, said to hold the ocean
Hair: Extremely fair
Appearance: She is small for her age and some might mistake her for a life-size doll if she stands still for long enough. Her hair cradles her small, smooth face beautifully. Her hands are tiny but useful for er occupation. She is very light-skinned being that she has never left the underground catacombs where she lives with Erik.
Association with the Opera Populair: She has no real association being that no one really knows she exists. There are the few that say she is a ghist child to the Opera Ghost, but this is put off as nonsense by the new managers. "Best not to push a joke too far." Her main job,, which she gave to herself, was protecting Erik. As you can probably tell, she is a very bright little girl. She knows the different between right and wrong but doesn't really care.
Biography: She was very small when she was orphaned by her parents. Madame Giry found her on the street. She never knew where the child came from or why the child was there, but that she was beautiful. Madame Giry took her back to the Opera and swathed her in a warm blanket. You all know that Erik sees everything. He saw this child and saw her as an animated doll. He wanted to touch her, so one night he snuck into the room where her makeshift cradle was. He felt the smoothness of her face against his cold, dead fingers. She woke and stared at him. She didn't cry, or scream but stared with giant orbs of blue under her perfectly placed lashes.
Then Madame Giry appeared behind her. "She is not afraid," she said, "why are you? You are shaking." Erik removed his shivering hand and let it fall at his side. Then he turned quickly and faced Madame Giry. "What will you do with her?" he asked. She made not attempt to answer him. "Have a daughter," Giry said, "Protect her, raise her."
