I went to my FFA banquet yesterday night and I was walking home in the dark (I love doing that...it seems so dangerous, yet so fun at the same time...) and I was carrying a balloon on a string and I had tied ribbons to my hair ties that were on my wrist...and this is what came out of it...
There once was a girl who carried the moon on a rope in her right hand and carried the sun beams in her left. She had pure white wings that were the fluffy clouds that streatched across the sky during the day. During the night she had a dark gown that streatched across the sky that was decorated with stars and during the day she was completely invisible except for the fluffy wings. Also during the day she would hide the moon behind a great mountain in the east and stretch out her hand, letting the sunbeams show all around the world. And at night she would lasso the moon once again and close her left hand and the small, yet bright light that shown through her fingers became the north star. She flew with the moon and sunbeams over the plains and forests with her eyes closed for all time, for her eyes were the gates to the underworld itself where there was no light, only darkness. Her dark skin blended with the night and from her mouth came the sounds of the night and sounds of the day. Her songs made up every day life on Earth and if she were to close her mouth, she would have brought the world together.
But some people wanted just the sun. Some people wanted just the moon. Because of this, one day the girl dropped the sun beams and the moon, stopped singing, and opened her eyes. The earth was cold and hot at the same time. There was silence and screams in the same place. The girl became the destruction of the world. The girl was so saddened by the world that had made her give up her responsibilities, she set the moon and the sunbeams free, letting them roam around the Earth as they wished, closed her eyes, opened her mouth, and went and hid in the soil of the Earth. This is the reason why we hear the brids chirpping in the morning. This is why the sun follows the moon. This is why we have not been destroyed. But one day, the girl will awaken from under the soil and open her eyes, and the end will come. But if you have been pure, the girl will not destroy you with her eyes, but will carry you with her hands to a place beyond the Earth she once overlooked....
